"He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.”Luke 9:2
Being asked to preach at a nondenominational church this past Sunday, I
asked the Lord to provide me with wisdom as to what it is that His people
needed to hear. God is faithful, and I knew that this was His will. Praise God…
He has never failed in providing a word and direction. At the close, I asked
for every eye to be open and every head up, and I shared God’s saving
message with a call for people to come forward if they knew in their hearts
that this was their call for salvation. I explained that a true end to self and
absolute surrender is reflected when one no longer cares who sees what
you do. I also told them that this takes courage. Three people courageously
came forward, and the whole church broke into a celebratory applause.
Praise God. Salvation belongs to Him and Him alone!
