turn; I begin to think about what I have seen since I come back to a drilling rig three
short weeks ago. I realize I left something in the office, so, I go down the stairs and
I'm met at the bottom by a roughneck who say, “Chris could you pray for Ken.” I
answer, “I sure can, what do we need to pray for Ken about?” He said, “Ken lost his
son three years ago today. It happened while cleaning a shotgun! My heart
immediately felt compassion for Ken and I could see the compassion from this rough*
neck! It was just like looking at Jesus! Later Ken came down out the derrick where I
met him at the dog house door and gave him an oil field bible and begin to tell Ken
how much I loved him and how much our Father loved him! I then read him what my
wife prayed for him over 600 miles away! I am thankful to be used to touch people's
lives!
