“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through
us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” (II Corinthians 5:20)
“Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come,
He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation;
nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within
you. (Luke 17:20-21)
Last Wednesday evening the Delhi Charter School FCA held an annual event called
Fields of Faith. The local Pentecostal church youth that attend DCS lead in praise
and worship to our King and my son Garan was asked to minister the word. This
service was held on the DCS football field with support from the principal, teachers,
and staff that were present. After Garan was done speaking from John 21 to the 40
-50 people sitting in the bleachers he invited 3-4 pastors and ministers (myself
included) to stand in the front and face the crowd. The young people began to sing
praises to Yahweh as the invitation for prayer was given. I was taken back by the
hearts of the people to lay down pride and come forth for prayer in an unashamed
posture. My heart was stirred as was the fire within me as we anointed hurting
people with oil and praying for Shalom and deliverance. Repentance, Confession,
Tears, were all evident at the DCS football stadium last Wednesday. Will you be
found inside the church building only or will you be found at church becoming
equipped to GO OUT and BE THE CHURCH!
Grace and Peace
