It is really not a loss, it’s a gain because she has gone to heaven. Kenneth’s
mother knew Jesus, but more importantly Jesus knew her. At the funeral
Kenneth was able to share how that Jesus knew his mother. Kenneth was
with her the last few minutes of her life. As she opened her eyes there was
a glow, little sparkles; it was like light was coming out. He was holding
her hand counting her breath; 1,2,3,4, breath, 1,2,3,4, breath, then it went
to the count of seven; she slipped away. He looked at the clock it was 1:13;
he said, “She’s gone to heaven.” As she passed away he was holding his
cell phone, the face of the phone was totally black, he had not touched it
and a song came on, “Dancing with Angels in heaven.” He tried to turn the
sound off but he was unable to; it was suggested that he just lay the phone
down and let it play. There was no way for anybody to have turned the phone
on but God. Kenneth said he was so blessed to have a mother who loved
her children so much.
