Thursday, November 2, 2017:
I was invited to attend and speak along with other local pastors including a
co-worker and friend, Jonathan Dumas, at the First Annual Jailhouse Rock
Revival at Lincoln Parish Detention Center this past Sunday evening. There
was an estimated 150 people in attendance consisting of male & female
inmates, guards, Warden Tuiton, Sheriff Stone and other visitors. The Holy
Spirit moved through that yard (it was held outside) as all of us spoke of
the goodness of God, shared our testimonies and proclaimed salvation
and restoration found only through our savior Jesus Christ. At the alter call,
we prayed with many of the inmates who came forward broken and crying
out for their families and (20) came to Christ and surrendered their life to
Jesus! What an honor and privilege we have to be the voice of God and to
see broken souls come to the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords and receive
Him resulting in restoration and eternal salvation! All Glory to God!
