Matt. 5:43-45 - "You have heard that it was said,' You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say To you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust." The company I work for hired a new Human Resource person, a Hispanic female, a few months back. From day one, there was a lot of tension between her and other employees. On my outgoing email, I have a scripture (Psalm 91:2) included in my signature that goes out to every customer, vendor and employee that I email. She saw that scripture on an email I sent to her and took her complaint to the President of the company with hopes to have me forced to remove the scripture from my outgoing email signature. I was summoned by the President to come to his office where I stood my ground for keeping the scripture there (Rom. 1:16, Mark 8:38, Luke 9:26) Not only was I allowed to keep the scripture, it encouraged the President to add scripture (Rev. 4:8) to his outgoing mail. After that incident, I began to add her to my daily workplace prayer. A few weeks ago, I was in her office and she started telling me that her brother had been hurt really bad and was in the hospital in Venezuela (Her home country) She asked me would I get my Church to pray for him. I said I will but If you don't mind, I'd like to pray for him right now. She agreed to let me pray for him and I took her hand there in her office and I began to pray for him. I prayed for him, for her and for her family for physical, spiritual and emotional
healing and that a mighty move of the Holy Spirit would come over them revealing God's glory and grace. She was weeping and very grateful. Since this encounter, there has been a complete change in her attitude and her brother has been healed and released from the hospital. I continue to pray that I will see her and her family come to know the Almighty King as Lord over their life and be added to our eternal family!
Thanks,
