Love you!
Friday, April 6, 2018: Robert and I had a 26-hour layover in Hong Kong on our
way back from our trip to Malaysia. We spent most of our time in the airport and
took turns sleeping. While Robert was taking a long nap, I had taken notice of
an older Asian woman sitting across from us. She had a bunch of luggage on a
cart and looked like she was struggling with lifting one of her suitcases onto the
cart. I asked if she needed any help, then ended up in a long conversation with
her. Luckily, her Mandarin and English was good, so we were able to converse
well. Through the conversation, I found out she had flown in from Singapore and
had been living in the airport for a month, trying to figure out where to head next.
She was short on money, so I was able to bless her with a bit of Hong Kong
money I had on hand, then offered to pray for her. I prayed for mental clarity and
direction for her, as well as open doors for travel. She seemed encouraged by
the prayer and that I was willing to talk to her. While nothing "radical" happened,
I was blessed to be able to love on this sweet lady.
