In a past testimony during our garage sale to raise funds for the Brazil trip, a Vietnam vet came pulling an oxygen tank. We had the opportunity to pray for him. He was looking at a guitar we had for sale that day. Since we prayed for him, he wanted to sing a song for me. He played the guitar and sang a beautiful Christian song. Then I told him that I wanted to sing a song for him in Vietnamese. My husband played the guitar and I sang “How Great Thou Art” in Vietnamese. It was a very touching time. Several weeks ago, we shared this testimony in greater detail but now we have some more to add to it. When we were singing there were lots of people there shopping at the garage sale witnessing what was happening? One lady there came to my house recently to buy some items we had for sale and she told me how that morning really impacted her. God used that moment to encourage her because she was feeling down that day because her cancer came back. She felt that the Lord had led her to the garage sale to encourage her even though we did not pray for her that day. She was so touched by what happened that she went home and shared with all her friends on Facebook how we ministered to the Vietnam Vet. All her friends were encouraged by what she had witnessed and commented that we all need to be bold like that. I prayed for her and gave her a word of encouragement. When you minister to others, sometimes people just watching get impacted too.
