On Day 3, I prayed for a woman who had pain her back from a bad bladder infection. She was 30% better after the first prayer, 60% better after the second prayer, 80% better after the third prayer and 90% better after the fourth prayer. She thanked me, thinking I was finished, but I told her that as long as God was working, I would continue to pray. After the 5th prayer, all of her pain was gone.
Erica waved me over when I finished. Erica and her interpreter were praying for a woman who suffered from severe asthma. The woman had been diagnosed over a year ago. The asthma as so bad, she'd moved to seek a different climate. Medication wasn't working. Erica and the interpreter had prayed for healing, then received an impression the illness was demonic. Erica rebuked spirits of allergy and asthma. The interpreter felt the problem was related to witchcraft, so she asked the woman if she or anyone in her family was involved with Macumba, which is similar to voodoo. The woman confirmed that her brother was involved. The interpreter led the woman to renounce Macumba and forgive her brother. (It was at this time, I walked over.) The woman began to cough and said she felt something like a hairball was stuck in her chest. We commanded the demon to leave and the woman coughed more. She also felt a sudden, sharp pain in her neck. We commanded the demon to leave again and the pain in her neck moved to her shoulder. I felt an impression from the Lord that Erica, the interpreter and me should rebuke the demon together. I placed my hand upon the woman's chest. With every breath, I felt a rattle. Erica placed her hand on top of mine. She felt the rattle, too, through my hand. The interpreter placed her hand on top and on the count of three, we said together, "Out, in the name of Jesus." The woman had a coughing fit, after which the hairball feeling was gone, her chest didn't rattle and there was no more pain in her neck.
