Testimony by Michael Stephens

Thursday, February 2, 2017; at a leadership meeting of Covenant Life Fellowship,
Michael who works for Cajun Valve in Monroe La. gave this Testimony. They had
been working in Mansfield, La. two weeks ago. On the way home he and the men
went by the Boardwalk in Bossier City. As they went into the Bass Pro Shop
Michael was looking for a particular gun rest for the portable deer stand that he was
building for a fundraiser.
An employee asked Michael if he can help him; he told him he was looking for a gun
rest for a deer stand. The employ asked him about the fundraiser. Michael told him
that it was for a deer stand to help Randy White with Extreme Mission Adventure.
The employee told him about the mission trips that he had taken, this led to further
conversations. This guy is a pastor outside of Shreveport. Michael is always looking
for God in every situation that he goes into. He begins to wonder if this was a God
moment; that will help him in this fundraiser. He wanted to set up in front of the Bass
Pro Shop and sell tickets for the Hunger's Banquet. Michael asked him if the Bass Pro
Shop allowed people to set up in front of their store. He said that they did; and pulled
out pencil and paper and wrote down a name and phone number for Michael to
call. Johnny Morris is the owner Bass Pro shop; and he would be surprised if he
did not let them set up there. The representative returned Michael’s call and agreed
to let them set up on February 17th. and 18th. This was another God moment for
Michael. Praise the Lord!
