Monday, April 30, 2018: During the Charles Simpson meeting, Evelyn Scott
came up to Mike Clark and asked him if he would be willing to bring Darío to
her home to spend time with her. Mike agreed to do this; on Monday at 6 P.M.
Mike did not know Evelyn but he had peace of God to do this.
When Mike and Dario got their on-Monday evening a different lady answered
the door; she said, “Come on in, we're cooking.” As they walked in they sensed
peace of God in the home. There were several other people there for the meal.
It was made known to them that Evelyn had a son named John about 50 years
of age. Mike notice that there was something not quite right with John. During
the meeting Evelyn made mentioned that her son John had a stroke. The
conversation turned to prayer; then someone said; “lets pray for John.” So
Darío gets up and begins to pray for John. Not knowing what John's problem
were; Darío grabs his left hand and said lift your hand toward heaven. They did
not know that John could not raise his arm! John's left arm went straight up;
this is something that he could not do before. They can tell that he was struggling
to hold his arm up but they encouraged him to continue to do so; and praise the
Lord's! Darío reaches over and puts his hand on John's forehead and prayed.
When Darío had finished praying for John, he began to move around the table
and pray for others. Mike continue to look at John; he was looking intently at
the man straight ahead of him, but he had both of his hands beside his face
moving them. Mike could not figure what he was doing. The man at the opposite
end of the table said, “John what are you doing?” John says, “I can see; John
continued saying; “I can see, I can see.” They asked him, what you are talking
about. Then it told the group that when John had a stroke he lost all of his per
reveal vision; he had only tunnel vision and was considered legally blind. His
vision was completely restored, also able to lift his arm and his shoulders were
not in pain anymore.
