I’ve been taking my vehicles to the local “Dream Wash” drive thru car wash for about a year now. It’s a very convenient concept and close to my home in Monroe. Over time I have developed a friendship with three of the men that walk out and direct cars into the wash. It started out by me rolling my window down as I approached and shaking hands or letting them know how much I appreciated them. At times while I was vacuuming my vehicles they would walk over to my car and strike up conversation. I would speak of the goodness of Jesus in my life and at times hand them a gospel tract as a means of encouragement. Late last year I was taking my truck thru and they asked where I got all the mud from. I told them I liked to deer hunt and that I had been hunting. They all told me how much they liked deer meat but had been a long time since they ate any. I told them I had some of last year’s meat in my freezer and I would bring a few packages. They were very appreciative when I dropped it off. I felt like this was an open door to minister on a deeper level about “giving” and how Yahweh gave us Yeshuah as the greatest gift ever. I decided to have one of the two deer I killed processed and give the entire deer to my friends at Dream Wash. Two weeks ago, I pick up my last deer of the season (125lb doe) and delivered it. Two of the three men was at work the day I arrived. They walked to my vehicle and I opened the ice chest to reveal the fresh meat they had no idea I was bringing, I even gave them the igloo ice chest the meat was delivered in. They were taken back by the generosity but I put my arms around these men and explained why I give, because Yeshuah gave eternal life to me 25 years ago! I shared my testimony of being brought from death to life. I handed them all one of my business cards and told them to call me if they ever needed prayer, had questions about biblical truth’s, or if Holy Spirit was dealing with them regarding their own eternal destiny. I pray you are encouraged find opportunities to speak boldly about out Risen and Soon Coming King. Use creative and selfless acts of kindness to demonstrate exactly what Jesus demonstrated and commanded us to “GO AND DO LIKEWISE”!
