Thursday December 27, 2012: At 12 o'clock noon today I met with Marion Boggs
and John McCarven at Subway. John is the young man who wanted to sell his
12 gauge shot gun for $300.00 to enter cutlery school in Baton Rouge, La. We
visited for a while then Marion asked John if he wanted to receive Jesus Christ
as his Savior. He said that he did. I led John in a prayer confession of faith in
Jesus Christ. I gave John the check for $500.00; he left with the check; smile on
his face as a newborn Christian.
