Then he told me about his mother leaving the family when he was in the third grade and wondered why she would do this. At this point, I interrupted him and said, “Tim I am not going any where,” when I said that he buried his face in his hands and wept. He thought that it was because of him that she left which was wrong. His mother disappeared from his life. Then through an unusual set of events orchestrated by the Holy Spirit he found out where his mother was. He was working with a man named George who would talk about his wife and call her by her first name. It sounded just like he was married to his mother. Then one day he asked the man what his wife’s maiden name was, when he called it out Tim said, “You are married to my mother.” The man said, “My wife has never had any children.” Tim said to him, “Tell her about me and this story and if she wants to re-establish communication let me know.”
They did start communicating some. George was married to his mother for 16 years and then they divorced. The George got remarried but Tim’s mother never did. George continued look after Tim’s mother. On Tuesday, May 10, 2011 he found out from George that his mother was in an intensive care unit in Gainesville Florida. I talked to Tim about honoring his mother because she was the source of his life. I also said that in the economy of God that this was an important thing to do.
This morning Friday May 13, 2011 Tim is on the way to Florida to see his mother listening to teachings of Bro. Charles Simpson there and back.
