sitting at the end of the row. The man looked distraught with his head down, tears in his
eyes. At the end of the service Tim was led of the Lord to go over to talk to him. His
name was Johnny Wigstrom and he had moved here after Katrina came through New
Orleans. This was the first time that he had been in a church in 32 years. As a fireman,
there in New Orleans, it was his responsibility to go into attics to bring out dead bodies,
and a number of them were children. He became mad at God and cursed him for letting
this happen. Tim asked if he had ever received Jesus Christ as his Lord. He had not,
so Tim led him to receive Jesus as his Lord. Then Tim asked him if he would like to be
baptized; he told him that the Church would be having baptism on the river on Wednesday,
three days later. He said that he would. Tim told him that he, himself, was just coming
back to the Lord and was going to be re-baptized. He told him that they could enter the
water together. Tim carried him to see Dr. John Avant and introduced him. Then Tim
signed him up for baptism. They were baptized together!
