ministering this weekend at Pineville Christian Church.
Before getting there I visited with my family. Hannah sang "How Great Thou
Art" to my grandfather and when the song was over he covered his face with
his hands. He had tears all down his face. This is significant because we have
been praying for his salvation for the last few years. A very hardened man. Who
has been grieving the past few years after losing his daughter, my Aunt.
Then at the church yesterday Hannah sang and I got to Pray and give testimony
over and to the congregation.
The pastor - My former college roommate - Got up to speak right after Hannah
led a song. He was moved to brokenness by the miracle of how God has
changed our family. Sunday was his first time to experience Hannah in person
since she had her Encounters with the Lord about 3 years ago. He wept as he
told his congregation how he remembered talking with me over the phone during
our lowest points. He was in disbelief at what God has done in Hannah and our
family.
I've had 3 ministry opportunities. One Mother called me for prayer today whose
son is 48 and in her words - so far gone - she wept as we prayed. His name is
Stacy. Then another mom asked me yesterday if I would go to California to
minister to her son in prison after I shared about ministering to Erica in prison;
then Erica goes on Mission trip with us a year later.
