Testimony from Andy Magee

“for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the
word of knowledge through the same Spirit…”1 Cor 12:8

AnnaMarie greeted a friend who recently moved away to another state and
was back in the area visiting her family for Easter.  Watching this friend play
with her daughter, an impression came upon her mind and it was the word,
“loneliness.”  AnnaMarie, knowing in her heart, that this was a word from the
Holy Spirit tested this by coming up to her friend, hugging her, and asking
her how she has been doing.  Her friend began to cry, and she said, “I am
so lonely.”  This encounter opened up the door for AnnaMarie to pray for
her.  AnnaMarie shared with her that she did not believe the Lord would
want her to be without community, and that she would pray that the Lord
would bring friends to her.  This was also an opportunity to discuss and
share the topic of faith to her friend that continued in later text messages.
