I hope you guys are doing OK; I haven't seen any emails from you in several
days. Thank you so much for the Christmas card and the gift money. That
was very sweet of you! I also wanted to share a testimony with you. It's quite
a long one, but here it is:
Lately, God has been teaching me a lot about how to pray in faith in His
goodness, rather than fear or desperation. I have been praying in faith for
God’s provision and declaring a wealth mentality (instead of a poverty
mentality) over Robert and I, especially since I recently lost my job. I felt
God leading me to delve into the creative, specifically for creating jewelry
and making watercolor art. It was a leap of faith for sure and very humbling
for me to not put my worth in my job. Since I have been making these
declarations and have chosen to step out in faith, Robert has received extra
plumbing jobs, overtime, and he also got a $1,000 Christmas bonus this
past Friday. He also ran into a guy on a job who set us up with incredible
and cheap health insurance coverage for next year. That was a huge
weight off our minds! I have also had 7 sales since I opened my online
jewelry shop, which hasn’t been open long so far. I’ve made more money
this past month than I was ever expecting to make for a new shop. I also
will be doing a paid photo shoot for a friend this Friday. My Pappaw helped
us out financially to go see them for Thanksgiving, which was such a
special time for Robert and I. My parents are paying for us to fly out to
CA for Christmas, where we will also get to see my other set of grand-
parents. I was also able to get a new pair of $400 glasses that I needed
for only $86. We’ve been able to buy all the Christmas presents for family
and even some friends, and still able to support our missionary friend as
well. My Pappaw has also already paid for our airline tickets to go on a
missions trip to Malaysia in March! We have been incredibly blessed this
season and I have faith that God will continue to provide for us! I’m so
excited to see what He will continue to do. He is so faithful and blesses
us so we can be a blessing to others.
I love you!
