Today we “All four of us - Michelle, Hannah, Aaron Sophia and I returned to a school where there were some deep wounds from our past.
FA is the school where Hannah attended as an 8th grader and my wife taught history that same year about 5 years ago. Mr. John Sartin one of the faculty there as well as a ministry partner of ours called us to invite us to lead a chapel service there today.
Hannah and Michelle faced their memories of pain, shame, embarrassment, bullying, isolation, disrespect, etc.
Hannah sang to the students with passion & as she faced her fears from her past and sang to the students. She was receiving a measure of healing herself as she ministered to the Students.
After she stepped down, I had the opportunity to speak about some of our mission trips - specifically when we were in Africa this past Fall; What we do as a ministry - and even Hannah’s story of being delivered and healed of demonic strongholds of her past. I shared that Hannah once attempted suicide while attending FA and dealt with cutting - but how CHRIST HAS SET HER FREE - RESCUED HER AND HEALED HER.
While speaking to the students I was able to tell them that every person matters and has value because we are all made in the image of God. That Jesus Christ died not only to get them to Heaven but to SAVE HEAL and DELIVER them.
I was able to share the Good News - The Gospel - the meaning of SOZO and the Blood of Christ - Resurrection Power - and appealed to the students to Surrender their life to Christ.
10-15 young people looked at me to confirm that they wanted to profess Christ as their Savior and Lord this morning. Please join me in praying for Holy Ghost Revival to permeate FA now and throughout the remaining of this year.
