Monday, October 03, 2016: On the way to meet Mr. Adams I exited I-20 on the 18th street in Monroe; it looked like a crumpled piece of paper in front of me. It was a piece of sheet metal that someone had lost; as I drove over it, I heard a terrible noise and it drug for about 50 yards before coming out from under the van. I didn't know how much damage it had done. I kept a close watch on the temperature gauge and continued on to Piccadilly Restaurant. As I got out there was a man standing there; I asked him if he could help me, he was pleased to do so. His name was Erick; I told him the story and asked him if he would look under the van see if there was a noticeable problem. Only a piece of plastic had come lose. I noticed that he had a cross around his neck and I ask him if he was a believer in Jesus Christ; he said that he was. After visiting with him a few minutes I asked Erick if I could pray for him. He agreed; as I began to pray the Holy Spirit spoke to me to give him a word of prophecy in order to encourage, strength, and challenge him. He thanked me and wanted to know my name. Things like this make my day; thank you Jesus that you have provided the Holy Spirit to be our helper throughout the day.
