I also have had the opportunity to visit a young lady living in a Storage building
in West Monroe. She has struggled with addiction to Meth. I visited her a few
Thursdays ago. I received news from her brother on that following Tuesday that
she relented and went to receive care at a detox facility to be followed by attending
a Rehab. I then had the opportunity to minister prayer to a young lady who recently
completed a faith-based rehab that needed more emotional healing. One of the
common threads with so many individuals who suffer with drug abuse is that
many times they were sexually abused at some point in their journey. These
sessions generally last 4-5 hours. She had such a good session that she told her
father about the session and he then contacted me for a session. I’ve since prayed
with him for a prayer session as well. WE LOVE TO SEE BROKEN PEOPLE
BECOME WHOLE THEN BE SENT OUT TO BRING OTHERS INTO WHOLENESS.
