Sunday, August 02, 2015: This morning Chris Strout attended his normal church service at First United Methodist Church Downsville. At the end of the service he was given the opportunity to give a testimony. He stood up in front of about 125 people and talk about what God was doing in his life; he was applauded
I picked up Chris at his home; I met his mother; she thanked me for helping her son. Chris and I went to The Powers' Home meeting; after the worship Chris and I gave the group testimony of what happened at the recruters office. Then I asked the group to pray for Chris. There was encouraging prayer and anointed prophesy spoken over him. He was greatly blessed and made the statement that I was his spiritual father, and I have only spent a week investing in him.
Wednesday, July 01, 2015: I had Lunch with Sgt. Scott Robertson; he said that he liked me because I was very direct. During lunch Scott and I had a good visit and went to my Van to pray. I prayed for him and then ask him to pray for me. He shook my hand three times thanking me for the meal. Then he got out of the van walk around to the driver side window knocked on it, I lowered the window and he shook my hand the fourth time.
Thursday, July 2, 2015: This morning I picked up Chris in Downsville at 8 AM and was at the recruiter by 9 AM. Chris and Scott completed all of his paperwork while I waited.
Sunday, July 12, 2015: This afternoon I picked up Christian Strout in Downsville; there I visited with his mother and step-father. We went to Neil and Mei Powers' home for their bi- weekly Sunday meeting. I had Christian read Andy Magee's testimony about Dante; he enjoyed being uninvolved and related well with the people. Again I had the group lay hands on him and pray for his future in God.
