Sunday, February 24, 2019: Hello Robert, from Germany
One of our team members David Wheeler met a man who escaped Iran after professing Christ on a recent trip in Germany. I will get more details soon but what I know was that he escaped Iran and once he reached a boat something went awry - he actually had to help rescue some children while swimming for safety.
His name is Reza; he has a wife and child still left behind in Iran. David Wheeler has remained in touch with him. He bought David’s cab ticket when he himself was very poor since fleeing and living in Germany as a refugee.
We had the opportunity to anoint him and pray for him today. To pray for emotional healing and for the rejoining of he and his family. It was an honor to do this. I told him he was my hero.
Anyone who is willing to lose all for the sake of their faith in Christ is truly humbling to meet.
