As we stood with our brothers and sisters: Neil and Mei Powers, Tim Smith, Michael Brakefield and others worshipping and praising the Almighty King, it was a beautiful sight! Approximately 200 people there: of all kinds, from different cities, from different churches, different walks of life, different colors, different shapes, different economic levels, different in their spiritual walk, with different struggles and burdens. But all were there for the same purpose – to seek, praise and worship the one True God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
It was beautiful picture of the Body of Christ worshipping together harmoniously keeping the unity of the Spirit (Ephesians 4:3). We were singing, clapping, shouting and dancing all for the Glory of God! There were also testimonies of healing and restoration and we prayed over individuals and families. The presence of the Lord was evident and strong! Even as the enemy tried to distract us by sending a train through during the service, we chose to rise above the distraction by loudly shouting Praise to God while the train was passing by! I believe many people were touched by the Spirit during this time of Worship. As I was observing the congregation and praying over them as a whole, the Lord gave me a word – “I AM MOVING, MOVE WITH ME”
For me this was not only an answer to our prayers, but also a confirmation of what the Lord has been speaking to us over the last several months. The Lord is moving, despite all the darkness we see and hear around us, His light is shining brighter and brighter! God is moving and I don’t want to be standing on the side lines as a spectator – I want to be a player in the game!
